total time 1:11:13 average pace 13:04.  What a crappy workout!  I knew I wasn't going to get in my scheduled amount of miles which was 11 miles, but I was hoping to get in at least 8.  Oh well it was lucky I got any miles in today.  We got home from Cedar City around 3:30-4:00, got unpacked and took the kids swimming until 6:00.  We ate Cheese sandwiches and milk for dinner (not a meal conducive to running) at around 7:00.  And of course we didn't eat great as we traveled either.  Any way I finally got out the door to go running around 8:45.  When I got about 3.5 miles into my run my stomach was killing me, so I decided to start heading home. When I reach just over 4.5 miles I just couldn't run any more and walked the last mile.

The course was changed this year.  Usually it's 4.7 miles but according to my garmin the new course is 5.00 miles.  I don't have my official time yet. I'll post it as soon as I get it. It was a good race.  Today was the first time I've ran it without walking.

Tonight I ran another 7 miles so I could get my 12 miles in for the day.  I ran a lot slower tonight than I did this morning. I was pretty tired by that time, but I ran/jogged the whole way. Total time 1:26:08 average pace 12:18.

Got up a little earlier than usual today in the hopes of beating the heat. I started running at about 7:15 and made it home before it got to hot.  Total time 1:10:29 average pace 11:44.

After two hours of sparring in my martial arts class last night and being covered in massive bruises on my shins and arms this morning I decided just to walk the two miles, but I'm still counting it.

Got up early this morning and ran up to Mantua and about 1/4 the way around the lake and back home.  Going up the canyon the hill was quite challenging and on top of that there was a wicked relentless head wind.  I walked more than I would have liked to up the canyon, but had a blast running back down
