I ran quite slow today because of a sore left hamstring and lower back.

Walked/jogged while pushing my 4 year old in the jogging stroller as I took my older son to school, then walk/jogged for about a mile extra before going home. It is such nice weather for October I just couldn't pass it up.

Walked back up to the school to pick up my son and walked home again.  I'm counting this walking as part of my miles because I do run part of it and I want to keep track of my calories.

Race: Spooktacular (3.1 Miles) 00:30:01, Place overall: 47, Place in age division: 4
Total Distance
3.09

I'm so excited.  This course is a lot harder than the one I ran 2 weeks ago, and I came in faster today.  There were some pretty good hills and I just pushed up them. It was great. These last two races I've come very close to averaging what I ran in High School. (I know pretty sad for a high school runner), but not many people my age can say that.
